Winterfest of Lights: Nov. 17 - Dec. 31
The Ocean City, MD extravagant holiday light show is back for its 30th year in town! At Northside Park on 125th Street, see the fields transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of lights all around. Walk along the paved path while browsing animated light displays and sipping hot chocolate with your loved ones. The famous Winterfest of Lights 50-foot Christmas tree and the many decorations scattered through the path is perfect for a family photo opp.
Get in line to take pictures with Santa and head to the holiday gift shop afterward! Pick up a souvenir to commemorate the season and help spread the holiday cheer. Admission is only $6 for adults and is FREE for children younger than 12 years old.
Winterfest Train Garden Display: Nov. 17 - Dec. 31
There’s more in store this holiday season with a new OCMD activity! Local model train enthusiasts have constructed a festive Holiday Model Railroad Display for everyone to visit. Stop by the Convention Center on your way to or from Winterfest of Lights and check it out! Admission is free for all, but donations are welcome to benefit the Ocean City Beach Patrol.
SantaCon OCMD: Dec. 9 - Dec. 11
SantaCon is a classic holiday bar crawl loved and celebrated by many! Ocean City will be hosting SantaCon the weekend of December 9th for all the Santas, elves, and reindeer to dress as festive as they can and spend time with friends and fellow Santas at their favorite local bars. Cork Bar & Grill, Crawl Street Tavern, Pickles Pub, 45th Street Taphouse, Buxy’s Salty Dog Saloon, and many more will be participating in holiday specials.
While participating in the event, support Santa’s favorite charities by bringing donations for Kenille’s Kupboard Pet Pantry & Rescue, and the Assateague Coastal Trust. Find more details here!
