With more than three dozen retail shops, over 25 eateries offering food and drink, plus museums, a summer Farmer’s Market, and great outdoor events, there is always something to see and do in Berlin! - Snow Hill, MD: 23.4 miles, 30 minutes from OCMD
Downtown Snow Hill blends the best of the outdoors with over two dozen businesses, including restaurants, coffee shops, and retail shops. WIld horses, anyone? Take a drive or use the biking and walking path to experience Assateague Island National Seashore or Assateague State Park. Stop into the Visitor’s Center to learn more about the barrier island that is home to more than 75 horses. Fenwick Island is a short drive from Ocean City, MD, and has a historic lighthouse and a World War II-era fire control tower that once protected the coastline. Fenwick Island State Park offers beach access and kayak or stand up paddle board rentals. While there is not a boardwalk, Fenwick does offer restaurants, seafood houses, a winery, and a water park.
