Assateague Island Surf shop is located on Rt. 611 heading down to Assateague Island State and National Parks. The surf shop is loaded with surf brands such as Billabong and Oneill and also carries their own private labeled clothing including board shorts, shirts and more. You will also find a nice selection of jewelry, soy candles, scented soaps and beach essentials.
More than a surf shop, Assateague Island Surf Shop is also the home of Born to Move Coffee and Smoothie Bar, featuring coffee by surf legend, Laird Hamilton.
Believe it or not, the shop even has bike rentals and future plans include SUP board rentals and surf lessons!

Great, convenient place to stop and rent boards before heading out to Assateague Island Beach proper. Cute, trendy, yet slightly expensive cafe inside that offers really good sandwiches and coffee.

Can’t believe I’m just now stopping in and I live 5 minutes up the road! I initially came here for a coffee and ended up grabbing a sandwich and sitting for a couple of hours catching up with an old friend. Super cozy; really nice selection of merchandise; great vibes. I’m looking forward to coming back. Friendly service and tasty coffee. The Sunset sandwich was great. Thanks again!

Nice store with cute, interesting things, clothes, beach blankets.
They sell very aromatic ocean scented soaps, shower gels, etc.
There is a very good coffee shop on the other half of the store.
