Assateague Island Surf shop is located on Rt. 611 heading down to Assateague Island State and National Parks. The surf shop is loaded with surf brands such as Billabong and Oneill and also carries their own private labeled clothing including board shorts, shirts and more. You will also find a nice selection of jewelry, soy candles, scented soaps and beach essentials.
More than a surf shop, Assateague Island Surf Shop is also the home of Born to Move Coffee and Smoothie Bar, featuring coffee by surf legend, Laird Hamilton.
Believe it or not, the shop even has bike rentals and future plans include SUP board rentals and surf lessons!

Great shop. Something for everyone here. Nice little coffee/breakfast area too. Coffee was great, food was ok…very friendly service.

Cute little shop. Best shop we were able to find in Assateague for local surf/beachwear with Assateague on it that was stylish. Pricing is up there but you get what you pay for. If you want quality and an attractive design you are going to pay for it. Lots of Billibong, O’Neil, etc brands of clothing also. Cute jewelry and nice fragrances.There is also a nice cafe attached. Definitely worth checking out.

Stopped here on way back from Assateague beach. Glad we did. Excellent clothing selection for the entire family. Friendly, helpful staff. They have a very special home grown T-shirt that Is destined to be a classic! Didn’t have a chance to eat in the cafe, the menu looked great. Will definitely be back for some food next time. Shop local!
