⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First Escape Room Experience – A Fun Family Adventure!
Our very first escape room experience—and what a great place to start! Captive Escape Rooms in Downtown Ocean City gave our family a truly memorable adventure. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made us feel comfortable, even though we were new to the whole escape room concept.
The room design was creative and immersive, with just the right balance of challenge and fun. We had to communicate, problem-solve, and work together as a team, which made it a perfect bonding activity. Everyone had something to contribute, from the kids to the adults.
It was exciting, intense, and incredibly rewarding when we unlocked the final clue. We walked out with huge smiles on our faces—and a great sense of accomplishment. Such a fantastic way to spend time together as a family.
We’ll definitely return to try another room on our next visit to Ocean City!

We had a great experience today at captive escape! We went with a party of 4 and did the 13 doors room. It was so much fun and the room was layed out very good. Ryan our host was amazing, and he made the experience so much more fun. He deserves a raise for his great personality and how he interacts with his guests! We definitely will be coming back at some point for the other rooms.

Fun time with my daughter and her friends. We were given the room with the highest level of difficulty (according to the staff) and were minutes from escaping. I highly recommend it, especially if you want to "escape" the boardwalk for a couple of hours. Just steps from the boardwalk. Convenient parking (not free) and great staff.
