The Pocomoke River Canoe Company in Snow Hill is a special place. The paddle down the river alone makes it worth a visit, but the building itself feels like a cozy cabin. When you look out the doors or windows, you see the water edged by trees, and it feels like you're worlds away from everything. The real magic comes from the PRCC family. The owners and staff genuinely love what they do, and their enthusiasm is contagious. They're incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure everyone has a great time. It’s clear they’re not just running a business; they’re sharing their passion for the river with every visitor. Rented a SUP from this place over the summer and took my dog out with me. Was beautiful in the mid-day, wind was slack so glassy surface on the river. Beautiful and desolate feel, felt like I was on the bayou with the all the bald cypress trunks. Special thanks to the gentlemen/staffer who was on the dock as I pulled up, as I almost slipped off trying to dismount off the board onto the dock and he grabbed my arm, probably saving me from falling and dropping my dog. They also have really cool, quality products in the shop.
